Terms of Use

Effective date: June 6, 2026

These terms cover use of the killpnpm website and the open-source CLI package distributed through npm and GitHub.

Acceptance

By using the website or installing the package, you agree to these terms and the open-source license that applies to the code.

Open-source license

killpnpm is provided under the MIT License. The license controls your rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the software.

Local process control

killpnpm can inspect and stop local pnpm-related process groups. You are responsible for reviewing matches, dry runs, process trees, confirmation prompts, and cleanup plans before running commands that affect your machine.

Use options such as --list, --dry-run, --tree, and --verify when the target is broad or the environment is shared.

No warranty

The website and software are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. The project does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact diagnostics on every operating system, or suitability for a particular workflow.

Responsible use

You agree not to use killpnpm or project services to:

  • interfere with systems you do not own or administer;
  • publish private logs, secrets, access tokens, or sensitive local paths in public reports;
  • misrepresent project affiliation, package ownership, or security status.

Third-party services

GitHub and npm are separate services. Repository browsing, issue filing, package installation, and account interactions on those platforms are governed by their own terms and policies.

Changes and contact

Terms may change as the project changes. For bugs, legal-page corrections, security concerns, or package issues, use the GitHub issue tracker or inspect the repository.
